Why We Exist: Our Charge
Welcome — I’m Kimberly, owner of Tactics Matter. I’m a proud Texan, the mother of two remarkable young men, and the widow of LCDR Gregory Ballenger, USN, one of my heroes. Raised in Corpus Christi, TX by a strong and inspiring woman, I am deeply committed to helping make our community and surrounding areas safer for generations to come.
I began Tactics Matter from a need that I saw within our community. As women our nature is to be loving and nurturing to those that we have been given charge to care for. When we have the desire to protect without the necessary tools to protect, we feel loss. God has given me the ability to fill this void and to help empower women and I am humbled. Many days after a training session I wonder who is the teacher and who is the student. I gain so much from my “students”, their lives and their stories. I am truly blessed beyond measure!

The class was fantastic! I have been shooting since my Grandfather taught my brother and I year's ago. But when it came to my family learning about gun safety I choose to leave more in depth training to the professionals. Take a class with Kim and Lonnie you won't be disappointed.
